Miley Cyrus Reveals She's Pregnant...With a Pizza Baby

Miley Cyrus is having the last laugh—and the last slice!

The "We Can't Stop" singer has been subjected to a series of untrue rumors for months, and on Wednesday, Cyrus decided to have a little fun of her own. In December, Life & Stylereported that the pop star and Patrick Schwarzenegger got married in Miami. The tabloid alleged that Cyrus walked down the aisle to a techno remix of "Here Comes the Bride" and, while reciting her vows, promised to "try to be a faithful wife, but…she couldn't make any promises." Per a source, Schwarzenegger said he would marry her if she took his last name. "Then they made out for like five minutes while everyone cheered." It alleged that the rings were made using rolling papers and a little-person stripper acted as the minister.

Cuckoo, right? The bizarre rumors about her personal life didn't end there.

In January, Life & Style ran a cover story announcing that Cyrus was "pregnant and dumped." The article claimed that she was "notoriously lax about birth control," and Schwarzenegger considered breaking up.

Cyrus never commented on the rumors directly, but she did silence split talk when she attended a pre-Grammys event with Schwarzenegger. And, if her risqué Grammys dress was any indication, no baby bump exists.

Still, the rumors persisted, so on Wednesday, Cyrus regrammed a manipulated image of herself getting an ultrasound. Her best friend Cheyne Thomas played doctor, and the sonogram showed a pizza baby. "The rumors are true...... @cheythom," the "Wrecking Ball" singer, 22, joked in the Instagram caption.

At least she has a sense of humor about these things!

The truth is, Cyrus and Schwarzenegger are neither married nor expecting a child. They are, however, enjoying each other's company. Recently, the couple went to Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., with Cyrus' sister in tow. "Disneyland is actually the best place on earth," Schwarzenegger, 21, told his Twitter followers.

Cyrus is a hit with her boyfriends' famous family, too. After a group dinner in late December, a source revealed to , "Miley and Patrick definitely look like a cute, happy couple and are getting serious."

Everyone stop what you’re doing! This just in: Kim Kardashian has gone platinum blonde! We repeat, platinum blonde! The reality TV star and mogul-in-the-making debuted her new ‘do at the Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week.

Earlier in the day, she was spotted outside her hotel and at the Lanvin boutique wearing a cute, but very un-Kim-like, knit beanie. (There’s nothing like shopping before hitting the shows. I guess this means we can also expect to see her atLanvin?) While she definitely looked boho chic, it was a curious accessory for someone who prides herself on her Armenian mane.

Kardashian must have underwent the transformation in either London or Paris since two days ago, she left Los Angeles as a brunette. And it’s not the only thing she changed up! The reality TV star Instagrammed a picture of extra long nails and wrote, “Anyone who knows me knows short nails are my thing but I had to try long nude nails for Paris Fashion Week!”

Unsisterly though it sounds, I didn’t expect to like Salma Hayek very much. Because we both go to a lot of catwalk shows, I see her all the time: I’m there as a reporter, and she’s there because her husband Francois-Henri Pinault is the CEO of Kering, the luxury group that owns Gucci, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Bottega Veneta, among others. There, she rocks a kind of boss’s wife vibe, dressed to the nines in the designer’s clothes. Or at least that’s how it had always come across to me. And I’d watched her new film, an animation of Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet, aimed at families: a “passion project” that is charming, beautifully crafted, impeccably well-intentioned – but, nonetheless, could perhaps do with wearing its learning a little more lightly.

Expecting grandeur, I am a little taken aback to arrive at the Park Cafe, appointed by Hayek’s people for our interview, to find it isn’t an ironically named smart restaurant, as I had assumed. It’s the kind of cafe where you queue with a plastic tray, next to a noticeboard of flyers for Monkey Music and community gardening projects, for a polystyrene cup of PG Tips with the teabag left in. It’s not quite somewhere I can picture Hayek – Oscar nominee, billionaire’s wife, Hollywood bombshell – hanging out, so I wait outside. Sure enough, when she arrives – tiny, radiant, swathed in cashmere, flanked by a bodyguard and an assistant who is being dragged along by Hayek’s golden labrador, Lolita – it turns out this isn’t the place she had in mind. But she’ll show me the way, she says, leading me in the direction of a restaurant elsewhere in west London’s Holland Park, chatting merrily about nothing in particular – the weather, Milan fashion week, how she needs a coffee.

The Belvedere Restaurant is quiet and serene, with white tablecloths and stem vases on the tables. But it is mid-afternoon, and the place is just about to close, the cloakroom attendant explains. Hayek asks very nicely: could we perhaps just have a coffee? But the attendant, who doesn’t recognise her, politely shows us the door. Hayek seems quite relaxed – it’s a nice day for a walk in the park, she says.

Well, yes, except there is a howling wind that means I won’t able to record our conversation, and it’s too chilly to sit outdoors, so I duck back into the restaurant, find the manager, and explain that Hayek is a huge movie star. He looks past me, out of the window, and sees her just as she tips her perfect profile upwards to the early spring sunshine like a leading lady finding her spotlight. Immediately he ushers us to a table by the leaded windows overlooking the park. On International Women’s Day, Hayek will present the UK premiere of The Prophet as part of Southbank Centre’s Women of the World festival. Hayek sees the message of the book as particularly important to women, because it is “about the courage to speak up, to believe you are worth being listened to,” she says. Gibran’s classic has sold over 100m copies worldwide, in 50 languages, since it was first published in 1923. “And yet it has never had publicity. It’s been read by generation after generation without ever really having fame. It’s not a religious book, it’s poetic and philosophical. It’s a book written by an Arabic man, which unites all religions. That itself I think is important.”

Hayek was a late bloomer, personally and professionally. She became a mother at 41 and married 18 months later. She was born into an affluent, cultured Mexican family, with Lebanese ancestry. Her father was an oil executive who once ran for mayor of their port city of Coatzacoalcos, her mother an opera singer who funded a music programme for less well-off children. At 25, already a television star in Mexico, Hayek moved to Hollywood, only to find that “no one would hire me”. She told Vanity Fair, a decade later: “I had studio heads say to me, ‘You could have been the biggest star in America, but you were born in the wrong country. You can never be a leading lady, because we can’t take the risk of you opening your mouth and people thinking of their maids.’” Alfred Molina, who played Diego Rivera to Hayek’s Frida Kahlo in the 2002 biopic she produced and which earned Hayek her Oscar, Golden Globe and Bafta acting nominations, said that “If Salma were white and male, she’d be bigger than Harvey Weinstein.” Weinstein himself called her, admiringly, “a ball-breaker”.

Frida, which Hayek spent eight years getting made, changed perceptions yet failed to bring on the meaty roles she might have hoped for. Since, she has executive-produced the award-winning Ugly Betty TV series, taken some comedy roles in Adam Sandler movies, and voiced Kitty Softpaws in Puss in Boots.

Jeffrey Archer calls Bollywood 'a bunch of thieves' who steal his storylines

Jeffrey Archer, the novelist and former British MP, has accused Bollywood directors of stealing his storylines.

In an interview with Indian news site DNA, Archer was asked whether his novels would make good Hollywood film adaptations. “Forget Hollywood, just look at your Bollywood!” he replied. “These bunch of thieves have stolen several of my books without so much as a by your leave.”

He cites the films Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and Khudgarz as plagiarising his novels Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less and Kane and Abel – something that the Times of India also recently acknowledged. Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, like Archer’s novel, is about a conman battling revenge from three of the people he’s tricked, though the film cast the trio as women. Kane and Abel meanwhile, itself loosely based on the Bible story, became Khudgarz, a tale of feuding brothers.

Archer is popular in India, and claims to have sold 50m novels there. In the interview he says he is planning to set a portion of a forthcoming novel in Mumbai (or Bombay as he still calls it), with a female Bollywood actor as a central character.

After seeing the aforementioned loose adaptations of his books, he’s now officially selling the film rights, with novel First Among Equals and short story A La Carte sold to producer Sheetal Talwar in 2013, and director Hansel Mehtaintending to buy the official rights to Kane and Abel following his own TV adaptation in 1999.

Archer is currently shopping around his book Only Time Will Tell to Hollywood and Bollywood, but said he has had his fingers burned with Indian producers in the past, citing a “second-rate Bollywood idiot who goes around saying he’s a Bollywood star producer and then he is not! It’s true! What can I say? Such has been my Indian experience many times.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Archer says he once had Damian Lewis in mind for an on-screen version of one of his characters, “but the thing is, he has since grown very old.” He cites he favourite writers as John Steinbeck, John Buchan and RK Narayan, and offers his opinion on Isis: “I think the world should help arm the Kurds. It would be a disaster if Isis took over all of the region I call Kurdistan. The British government must ensure that never happens.” But he rules out a return to politics: “I [know that] 74. 270 million people have read my books and it’s the biggest and most central thing of my life. I can’t now make that secondary and start chasing other things.”

Africa's Richest Woman Isabel Dos Santos Proposes Merger Of Millennium, BPI

Africa’s richest woman Isabel dos Santos has reportedly proposed a merger between Banco BPI and Millennium bcp – two of Portugal’s largest listed banks, less than a month after Caixabank of Spain launched a takeover bid for BPI.

According to a report by Reuters, Dos Santos recently sent a letter to the CEOs of Banco BPI, Millennium and Caixabank, where she outlined her proposal in detail and urged them to consider her suggestion.

In February, Caixabank, which is the largest shareholder in BPI with a 44.1% stake, launched a takeover bid for BPI. Caixabank, Spain’s 3rd largest lender by market value, offered to buy the remaining 55.9% it doesn’t own from BPI’s shareholders for a cash consideration of $1.24 billion or $1.49 per share in cash.

Dos Santos, 41, is the second largest shareholder in BPI with an 18.6% stake. Her new proposal could be an indication that she is not interested in disposing of her stake just yet. A source who spoke to Reuters believes that her stake in the bank is not simply a financial holding but a strategic one. Caixabank needs to win the support of two thirds of BPI’s shareholders for the bid to succeed and Dos Santos’ support is crucial.

She later withdrew the bid after the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) ruled that she had to raise the offer price.

Hollywood marriages never last because the temptation to cheat is just too great, Tinseltown insider Heather McDonald says

After more than a decade as a Hollywood insider and 14 years of marriage, Heather McDonald is a seasoned observer of Tinseltown’s catastrophic relationships.

The comic tells Confidenti@l that the celebrity divorce rates are stratospheric mainly because the temptation to cheat is just too great for most A-list marriages to withstand. And that the secret to those that manage to last even a few years is often a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on infidelity.

“They all end in the end,” McDonald, who’s currently starring on TLC’s “All About Sex,” told us, “because the opportunity as a star and someone wealthy is greater than if you’re just a regular person to find someone who’s attracted to you.

“Some young guy would love to go skiing in Telluride on a private jet with an older star, just like a rich guy can get better girls because it is a better package. And then you throw in Oscar parties and ‘Let me set you up in your own business,’” says McDonald, whose special “I Don’t Mean To Brag” is available now. “I think both successful men and women find it easier to find someone after they’ve broken up with their spouse.”

There’s a long-standing theory that the most durable show business unions are open marriages, but McDonald says they come with their own set of problems. “I just think that no two people are ever going to be 100% on the same page about that,” the mom of two says, “but the one (celebrity) who I know who did do that, they were able to sleep with other people, but then they just stopped sleeping with each other for like the last 10 years.”

“I think there’s more of a don’t ask, don’t tell policy in Hollywood,” McDonald, who is married to investment bankerPeter Dobias, says. “Which is like, ‘I’m not going to have babies with anyone else, you’re the number one. I’ll do it respectfully, I’ll do it secretly, I’ll do it while I’m on the road, if you’re like a musician or something, I won’t bring it home, I won’t shove it in your face. But don’t become a crazy jealous b---- about it.”

“I think that’s the kind of untold thing that’s happening,” says the former “Chelsea Lately” star. “The women are like, I’ve got the ring, I’ve got the house, I’ve got the kids, I’m the only one he’s having kids with, and if there’s something on the side, I’m not going to lose my mind over it and give up everything. But eventually they do though.”

One spy tells us the happy threesome were having breakfast at SoHo House in Los Angeles Friday afternoon, dining close to fellow celeb Vince Vaughn. “Ashton is cute, he was playing with the baby,” says our spy. “They are adorable together, baby is gurgling and smiling like it’s a movie.” While Kutcher sipped on coffee, his baby chewed on daddy’s finger.

HOUGH’S BIG JOGGERNAUT

She’s houghing and puffing and getting her fit on. “Dancing with the Stars” starJulianne Hough stopped to stretch out while going for a jog in West Hollywood. Either that or she’s making obscene gestures toward our cameraman. The 26-year-old health nut wrote on Instagram Thursday that “We’ve got a big announcement coming in #4days ! Can you guys guess what it is?” We’re waiting.

When she’s not sporting the latest Dior Couture or getting nominated for Oscars, Marion Cotillard spends her time representing France across the globe. The actress enjoyed a glass of champagne at the Malacanang Presidential Palace in Manila in the Philippines this week as part of a short trip with French President Francois Hollande.

SONJA HAS HERSELF A GAY OL' TIME

"Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan is a wildcat on the prowl — even when the cameras are not tailing her.

Morgan was spotted in the street making out with a hunky stranger she met Thursday night, following drinks at a midtown bar. The reality star was then spotted “staggering” two doors down to the gay bar The Town House arm-in-arm with her catch.

Once inside the bar, Morgan, 51, positioned herself on a sofa and “devoured” her new prey.

“The guy seemed uncomfortable being at gay bar, or maybe that was Sonja pouncing on him to the disgust of the crowd. Her dress was hiked up and she put on quite a show,” says our spy. “The boys were singing show tunes and Sonja was moaning and groaning along — very out of tune, may I add.”

Our spywitness added: “At one point she was practically lying on top of him.”

Confidenti@l is told the new couple, who had known each other for just a few hours, were still going strong at around 1 a.m.

Morgan’s antics weren’t for the camera, “Housewives” stopped filming earlier this month. A Bravo insider tells us if the ladies don’t get good ratings, the New York portion of the franchise could be finished.
