There were plenty of laughs at the Golden Globes 2014 show, a few more tears, But most of all, the night was studded with moments that had us wondering: what the heck just happened?
Here were the biggest head-scratchers from the wild night at the Globes:
7. Presenters Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie get the wrong teleprompter cues. As the script meant for the next presenters – Aaron Eckhart and Paula Patton – scrolled before them, the pair froze and took a deep breath, waiting for something to happen. Finally, after a very awkward moment, Hill leaned forward and said, "I'm not going to lie to you. They put up the wrong stuff on the teleprompter." "I've never done this before, so I don't want to improvise on this," apologized Robbie before a hand appeared holding a script and bailing the pair out.
6. Accepting his trophy for Best Original Song for "Mandela," Bono backs away as P. Diddy leaned in a bit too close in the night's most awkward man hug.
5. Musician/composer Alex Ebert's amazingly...unhinged speech after winning for the "All is Lost" score.
4. Director Alfonso Cuarón's very odd tribute to his leading lady, Sandra Bullock, when he accepted the directing award for "Gravity."
With its even odder explanation:
3. Diane Keaton accepts the Cecil B. DeMille award and honors Woody Allen by singing "Make New Friends," a well known Girl Scout song:
2. Jared Leto shares his grooming preparation for "Dallas Buyer's Club" while accepting the best supporting actor award.
With its way TMI qualifier:
1. Jacqueline Bisset returns to the Globes stage with the most wonderfully bizarre intense speech ever while accepting her award for "Dancing on the Edge.".
