The 'Sexiest Man Alive' has finally settled down

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Get Engaged. George Clooney has got engaged to his girlfriend, Amal Alamuddin.
After famously vowing that he’d never get married again, it seems the actor has changed his mind.
So it seems like you CAN teach an old bachelor new tricks?
And according to Entertainment Tonight, the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ took his 36-year old British beauty out to dinner at the Nobu restaurant in California on Thursday, where she was spotted flashing a whopper of a ring to none other than Cindy Crawford and actor Edward Norton (!)
Fancy, huh?!
The couple are said to be happy (well if you were engaged to him you would be wouldn't you?) The couple were first ‘linked’ back in October, and whilst initially they were touted as ‘just friends’, the pair were spotted getting WELL affectionate, sparking rumours that Amal could be the one.
A source close to the two diehard lovebirds told .
‘George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem. I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever’
Sounds like a line from one of the Cloonster’s films.
Now, the Oscar winner has been linked to his fair share of ladies in his time (YOU DON’T SAY), so what makes the insanely good looking Amal any different to all the rest?
Clever AND Hot. What a woman. Well, we all know that the former ‘Dr. Doug Ross’ isn’t just a pretty face – he’s also a bit of a brainbox and political animal, and it seems Amal is pretty smart and fabulous herself.

The happy couple were spotted dining out recently. Whilst the couple haven’t confirmed or denied the news of the engagement yet, George’s publicist (a well turned out man called Stan Rosenfield) issued the following groundbreaking statement:
'I do not comment on his personal life.'
Erm… well that clears that up then.
Congrats to the happy couple. We were going to get them a Nespresso machine as a wedding gift, but we assume George has already got enough of them to last a lifetime.
