Tamra Barney is letting loose on Gretchen Rossi after getting word of Rossi's shocking comments about her ongoing child custody battle with her ex-husband, Simon Barney.
After hearing of Simon's full custody filing, Rossi spoke with Life & Style and revealed shocking details about Tamra and her parenting. In response, Tamra has taken to Facebook to let her feelings about her former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star be known.
"This nasty b***h will do anything to stay relevant. GO AWAY!" Barney wrote on Facebook on May 7. "You know nothing about my life or my kids."
In the accompanying photo with Barney's message, a magazine clipping from Rossi's interview with Life & Style was seen. In the clip, Rossi's comments were shown.
"She cares more about RHOC than taking care of her kids," Rossi told the magazine. "[Sidney] moved out because she couldn't deal with Tamra and when she finally did come home for one night, Tamra.." The rest of the interview was cut out, but clearly, these comments were enough to set Tamra off -- and who can blame her? Regardless of what is going on behind closed doors, her children should not be dragged into the media frenzy which has surrounded the case.
I pray that one day you have the happiness and beautiful children I have," Barney continued in her Facebook post. "I pray that your children are not hurt by divorce and their names are not drug through the mud by people like you." Following Tamra's Facebook post, Gretchen took to Twitter where she defended herself, calling Tamra a "hypocrite" and reminding her of her "trash talk" about Gretchen's fiancé, Slade Smiley. She also claimed that she didn't talk about Tamra's kids, despite her quote about Sidney.
"So [Tamra] I’m the evil nasty one? … I didn’t even say stuff about your kids … Funny how you always deflect who you are onto me," she wrote.
