Aloha, lovebirds! Charlie White and his newly minted fiancee, Tanith Belbin, couldn't keep their hands off each other after getting engaged in Hawaii on Tuesday, June 10.
The happy couple were photographed engaging in a little PDA on the beach after the Olympic gold medal-winning ice dancer, 26, proposed. While wading in the shallow water just off the shore, Olympic figure skater Belbin, 29—rocking a teeny bikini—threw her arms around her fiance's neck and planted a big kiss on his lips.
As previously reported, White revealed his engagement via Instagram, with a photo of him and his fiancee posing by the water in Hawaii. The caption read: "Couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting for the best time in our life! Hashtag she said yes!!!
" Alongside a second snapshot, of a rainbow appearing above the ocean, he wrote, "I promised myself I wouldn't do this. But I think Hawaii took that as a challenge 'cause dang! Look at that!" Hours later, he shared a picture of himself with his dog, DJ. "Everyone's asking about wedding plans," the Dancing With the Stars alum tweeted, "but as of right now only one thing is certain—DJ will be giving me away."
No doubt White's skating partner, Meryl Davis, will be in attendance, too. Davis—who beat White and all the other season 18 DWTS competitors to win the Mirrorball trophy with Maksim Chmerkovskiy in May—offered up her best wishes almost immediately after her longtime friend announced his engagement.
"Congrats to these two!" she tweeted, with a photo of the bride and groom-to-be. "Beautiful girl, beautiful ring. Good work @CharlieaWhite."??
