The "Stronger" singer and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, welcomed their first child, River Rose Blackstock, together on June 12.
Clarkson tweeted the happy news on Saturday morning:
But Clarkson, 32, didn't exactly have a smooth pregnancy.
"I vomit a good dozen times a day," the singer told Ellen DeGeneres in December. "It's, like, so gross. And that's the thing too, you're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow, and your hair is pretty, and your nails are pretty. That is total crap … I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible."
In January, the first "American Idol" winner revealed she was having a girl.

Kelly and Brandon tied the knot in October 2013 and announced they were expecting a child together a month later. While this is the singer's first baby, her talent manager husband has two kids — Savannah and Seth — from a previous marriage.
"I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now . . . after being single for six years!" Clarkson told in August. "We all live together and everything. It's so different, but it's perfect. They're awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing … I am quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that!' I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom."
