In case you didn't already know, Vin Diesel is the most endearing man on the Internet — and the least self-conscious.
The "Fast & Furious" star managed to top himself on Tuesday (at least in terms of length) with an adorably amateurish seven-minute-plus selfie video of him dancing and lip-syncing to both Katy Perry and Beyoncé.
"You know I love music" is the only label for the video, though after about three minutes and a half minutes of Diesel busting a move to Perry's "Dark Horse," he addresses the fans with an explanation for this delightful gift (that really didn't require any explanation whatsoever).
"Guys, I'm excited, I'm happy, and I'm shouting out to you guys to say thank you," says Diesel at the 3:20 mark after learning the news that "Riddick" topped the DVD and Blu-ray charts in the first week of its release.
"There's no way in the world 'Riddick' would've been made without you guys," Diesel continues. "It's a win for all of us, and really, really, really thank you so much."
The 46-year-old actor has garnered a nice-guy rep for being a guy who truly loves his fans, often treating them to early scoops that the studios would rather he not reveal and, of course, the occasional behind-the-scenes or personal video on his Facebook wall. Sure, he may not be the best speller or grammarian in the world, but the man's got a heart the size of... well, whatever planet Richard B. Riddick may be on at any given time.
Tuesday's video was no different as Diesel also revealed in his fun-loving vid that "Universal is saying they also want to develop the next one" before retreating to the back of the room to get down with Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love."
So, there's going to be another "Riddick" movie... and now maybe Katy Perry and Beyoncé will contribute to the soundtrack? Hmm.
This is definitely one of the best 'VinBook' videos to date. Really, it's got us thinking that "Paranormal Activity 5" should just be Vin Diesel lip-syncing and dancing to random songs as furniture and other objects get tossed around by some unseen force behind him.
Some of Vin's other memorable videos include a behind-the-scenes look at his "Fast & Furious 7" combat training with martial arts sensation Tony Jaa, posted in celebration of his Facebook page hitting over 50 million fans (which has since increased to over 63 million). It's an especially poignant video now, as it was created a month before the tragic car accident that took the life of co-star Paul Walker.
Vin also gave us a look at how he spends some of his down time on the "Fast & Furious" set: by walking around on stilts in preparation for his role as Groot in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy." "Furious 7" co-star Kurt Russell seemed especially impressed with this, and everyone knows you've truly made it once you've received Snake Plissken's approval.
As for what's going on with "Fast & Furious 7," Diesel reveals in-between Katy Perry verses that he was unable to attend this Sunday's Grammys due to the fact that he's hard at work gearing up to return to production on the sequel, which will hit theaters on April 10, 2015.
