Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Vogue cover shocked (and, for some, appalled) many when it hit newsstands. Not shocking is how adorable the couple’s daughter looks with her parents in the magazine’s spread.
Vogue’s editor-at-large and writer Hamish Bowles attributed North’s puzzled look to the inheritance of her rapper father’s “furrowed, quizzical brow.”

In an intimate family photo shoot shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibowitzz, Kanye rests his head on Kim’s lap while he holds their baby across his bare chest. North stares straight into the camera, not sure what her parents have her doing there.
The family lounges on a mocha leather couch with Kim wearing a white, long-sleeved satin dress and her left hand draped over her daughter’s bare bottom, also showing off her diamond engagement ring. Kanye wears black leather pans while he looks up lovingly at his bride-to-be.

Although North isn’t wearing anything in this photo, she’s no stranger to dressing up for pictures with mommy behind the camera.
“I take pictures of her all the time and dress her up,” Kim told the fashion magazine. “I put Kanye’s big chains around her, and I put a little Louis bag and some Jordans, and I was like, ‘What up, Daddy?’”
Daddy Kanye even edited a video of her natural movements together to make it appear that she’s break dancing.
