Jay Z's Roc Nation announced Monday that they will be managing Donda Music, a branch of Kanye West's creative house Donda, effective immediately. The partnership includes West's "recording brand" and touring ventures; according to MTV, it likely will not affect West's G.O.O.D. imprint with Def Jam.

West founded Donda, which he named after his mother who died in 2007, in 2011 when the brand worked on the packaging and tour design for Watch the Throne, his musical collaboration with Jay Z. The next year, Donda created a seven-screen "surround vision" system for the screening of the short film Cruel Summer, which accompanied the G.O.O.D. Music compilation of the same name.

Donda is also responsible for the minimal artwork for West's most recent album, Yeezus, and conceived the internationally placed "New Slaves" projections used in the album's rollout. The firm was also behind the conceptualization, design and production of the Yeezus tour, and designed and created record design and packaging for Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being II, Pusha T's My Name Is My Name and 2 Chainz's Based on a T.R.U. Story, according to Billboard.

Outside of his business dealings, West has remained as busy as ever creatively. Over the past month, the rapper released a laser-filled preview of a Yeezus movie that has been in the works. And amid his many international travels, he found the time to get onstage with his friend Drake, who called West the "genius of all geniuses."
