Not quite ready to flaunt the bump! On Thursday, March 13, Scarlett Johansson attended her first red carpet event since confirmed the actress is pregnant with her first child. The 29-year-old star posed for photographers at the Hollywood premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but camouflaged her small baby bump with a sexy ensemble.
Johansson's black-and-white lace Giorgio Armani Prive corset top and pencil skirt drew attention to her major cleavage rather than her bump. The actress couldn't hide her pregnancy glow, however, and proudly showed off her stunning engagement ring from fiance Romain Dauriac.
source confirmed on March 3 that Johansson and her French journalist husband-to-be are expecting their first child together. "She's about four months along," a source told at the time. "The baby was a welcome surprise!" The couple, who began dating in November 2012, confirmed their engagement last September.
The actress has stayed quiet about her pregnancy so far, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke out on the news earlier this week. The executive said Johansson's pregnancy hasn't changed the script for the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, in which the actress reprises her role as Black Widow.
"Well, my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her, and my second reaction was we've gotta move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise," Feige explained to Collider on Wednesday, March 12. "But we didn't change the script at all, which is sort of the most important thing for us in terms of the storyline. I think the goal is for us to sit here talking about the fact that you would never know that Black Widow was pregnant during the filming of the movie when you see the final version of Avengers 2."
