There must be something in the water this week, because Hayden Panettiere has finally confirmed what we've known for months … she's engaged to boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko!
The "Nashville" actress stopped by "Live With Kelly & Michael" on Wednesday, where she was asked about the diamond ringshe has been sporting lately.
"I'm sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there's a very large diamond ring on your finger,Kelly Ripa" pondered. "I'm not sure if you want to announce anything … does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?"
"It might be," Hayden coyly replied. "I mean, I think it speaks for itself."
Ripa then asked the 24-year-old actress point blank if she's engaged.
"I am!" Hayden exclaimed. She later added that there is no date set given her hectic schedule.
Us Weekly reported in March that Panettiere and her boxing champion beau were engaged. In early August, the actress was spotted wearing a giant diamond ring on that finger, but wouldn't confirm the happy news.
Hayden and Wladimir, 37, first started dating in 2009 before parting ways two years later in May 2011. The couple reconciled in January.
"It's like the 2.0 version," the actress old Glamour in May. "I've always had great relationships and stayed really good friends with the guys I've dated. It blows my mind sometimes that us getting together has gotten so much attention. It's like, Really? This is breaking news?"
Apparently it is!
