Super Bowl festivities were all about music's power couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé, at DirecTV's "Super Saturday Night" party in New York City on the eve of the big game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.
The 44-year-old rapper opened his rockin' set by riling the crowd and shouting, "I want y'all to know y'all at a rock 'n' roll show, not an [expletive] board meeting."
Jay then launched into his hit, "Beach Is Better," off his "Magna Carta Holy Grail" album and, as the audience sang the lines, "Girl why you never ready for as long as you took. You better look like Halle Berry... or Beyoncé," none other than Beyoncé herself strutted out onto the stage.
The crowd went wild as Queen Bey, 32, hit the stage in a black Roberto Cavalli dress and started belting out the words to "Drunk in Love" with her sweetie. The duo practically recreated their Grammy performance for the crowd, even doing their surfboard-like moves from last weekend.
The crowd, which included A-listers like Kate Upton, Jamie Foxx, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Ashanti, Spike Lee, Hannah Davis, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Chris Tucker, and Aaron Paul, went nuts.
Jay continued his hour-long set by singing some of his recent hits like, "Holy Grail" and "Tom Ford," before going old-school with crowd favorites like, "Big Pimpin'" and "99 Problems."
He closed out the amazing performance with a rendition of his chart-topper, "Empire State of Mind."
