Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 45th birthday in a fierce way.
The "First Love" singer was feted by pals at big bash Thursday night at Nammos New York in Southampton. The birthday girl was ready for the spotlight at the Greek restaurant/night club outfitted in pants and a sexy white bustier which showed off her fab abs. However, her outfit was nothing compared to her cake.
Lopez blew out the candles on a huge, colorful concoction featuring her own likeness riding a lion. Cake J.Lo was wearing an outfit inspired by her famed Grammy dress, a look she's recreated several times lately while promoting her new album, A.K.A..
As for whether or not Lopez actually tasted any of the cake, we're not sure. The mom-of-two's party outfit wasn't exactly cake-friendly in both color and cut. Nonetheless, "J.Lo was in a great celebratory mood," an insider at the party tells Yahoo. "She couldn't have been happier. She was with all of her closest friends having a blast. And she was on the dance floor forever."
So who were the party people she was celebrating with? Her BFF, Leah Remini, Fat Joe, Khloé Kardashian and French Montana, Scott Disick, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Andy Cohen, Dancing With the Stars pro Tony Dovolani, and cosmetics exec Loren Ridinger were all there. And before you ask, yes, Lopez's rumored love interest, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, made an appearance as well.
"She kept it mostly girls/friends only until Maks showed up sometime after midnight," says the insider. "She was happy to see him and he certainly was happy to see her. They were super flirty and just looked like they were having fun together. You could tell they weren't just friends. There is definitely something more going on there."
That sounds like bad news for Lopez's recent ex, Casper Smart. The backup dancer, who split with the American Idol judge in the springamid cheating rumors, posted a gushing birthday message for the star:
Exes aside, Lopez just seemed ready for a fun night out. As the festivities began, she took to Instagram to share a snap and wrote, "Let the games begin! #itsmyparty #funtimes #birthdaygirl #aintnuthingbutanumber."
It was her party — and it sure looked like a fun one.
