Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart Are Back Together!

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are kicking off 2015… as an on-again couple!
Multiple sources tell ET that the former couple rung in the new year together in Las Vegas. The American Idol judge was in Sin City for her “The Best Is Yet To Come” New Year’s Eve concert special at Caesars Palace.

The 45-year-old singer dated her 27-year-old choreographer for about three years before calling it quits in June 2014.
While cheating allegations on Casper’s part were rumored to play a part in the break-up, the twosome kept it friendly post-split and were snapped together several times after parting ways. First, driving around Los Angeles together in August, and again in October when they were spotted having dinner at La Conversation in West Hollywood, Calif.
In 2013, Jennifer opened up to ET about how happy she was with her then beau, saying, “It’s a sweet relationship. It's kind, it's healthy… it's supportive.”

In November, the singer shared her views on love to ET again while promoting her book, True Love.
“A relationship should be supportive, uplift you, it should make you feel confident, feel better, they should be adding to the relationship that's already inside you,” she shared.

And while she’s still seemingly navigating the romance waters, Jennifer has a healthy perspective on how to make any relationship work.
“I know for sure that you have to love yourself first,” J.Lo added, “It's a key to life. If you don't love yourself, really nothing is going to go right.”
What do you think of this romantic reunion? Are you happy to see J.Lo giving Casper another shot? Or, were they better off apart? Let us know by sending in a tweet with the hashtag #ETnow!

A slimmed-down 'American Idol' returns for season 14

"American Idol" is practicing addition and subtraction in its 14th season.
Longtime judge, short-time mentor Randy Jackson is gone. Music executive Scott Borchetta, whose impressive credentials include acting as mentor to Taylor Swift, will play that role for contestants and the winner will be signed to Borchetta's Big Machine Records.
There's another shake up ahead for the series, which returns with an hour-long episode Wednesday (8 p.m. EST) and a two-hour episode Thursday (8 p.m. EST): Starting with the live shows in mid-March, "American Idol" will cut back to a two-hour show once a week, on Wednesday.
It's a logical move given the aging show's ratings decline in an increasingly competitive entertainment landscape, said analyst Brad Adgate of Horizon Media. "American Idol" dipped last season to an all-time low weekly average of 10.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen company figures.
That's about a third of the 30.2 million the singing contest hit at its peak in 2006, when Taylor Hicks claimed the title over runner-up Katharine McPhee. But "Idol" remains a relatively strong performer for Fox, one the network seeks to protect, Adgate said.
"Whatever audience erosion will happen this year will be mitigated by limiting the show to one night," he said.
It's only fair to viewers to reduce the demand on their time, said executive producer Trish Kinane, given that the once-unique "American Idol" is now part of a flood of talent shows, including NBC's popular "The Voice."
"To commit to three hours a week for our or any other of the shows is too much, even if you adore these (talent) shows," she said.
The compressed schedule will allow for a better program, one that combines performances with the results of viewer voting for the previous week's competition, Kinane said.
All the contestants will be on hand for the live episodes, "dressed, ready and with their songs rehearsed," only to find out who is being eliminated, according to Kinane. The results won't be announced at the beginning of the show, but in a "more dramatic way," she said, holding details back for now.
The show will retain a familiar look. Ryan Seacrest, the sole original cast member, is returning as host, and Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban will be back for their second year together as judges.
All that's needed now is the kind of compelling contestants and future stars that "American Idol" has discovered in the past, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson.
"If I have a criticism of the show for us last year, it is that we haven't found, in the last two years, a group of kids who have captured the imagination of the public," Peter Rice, chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group, told a news conference after the 2014 season's conclusion.
That bar will be met, Kinane said, with outstanding performers discovered in auditions held in Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans; San Francisco; and elsewhere. She offered hints about one contestant, whom she described "as a girl who had never sung in public before the first audition" but ended up in the top 24.
"She's really good, but whether she'll win or not is unsure because she's quite raw. Can her raw talent develop through the process" is the question, Kinane said.
As is the performance of "American Idol" itself.

Kylie Jenner on Plastic Surgery: I'm Not Against It

Move over Kim Kardashian.
Cosmopolitan magazine is calling 17-year-old Kylie Jenner "The New Kardashian Mogul," and in the candid new interview, the cover girl talks everything from the endless plastic surgery rumors surrounding her to what it's really like growing up in the shadow of her famous sisters, and gives her honest reaction to her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner'sheadline-making divorce.
Kylie's plump pout has had plenty of people speculating she got lip injections -- even big sister Kim weighed in on the rumors in October -- but Kylie denies any plastic surgery in the new Cosmo interview.

Though never say never.
"You guys have watched me grow up since I was 9. My face is going to get different," she explains about her changing appearance. "Now, I know how to do my makeup, contour and everything. I'm not against surgery. I'd never say no, but I don't desire it right now."
And how does Kylie deal with the constant -- often times negative -- rumors surrounding her?
"When I was like 10, 11, 12, I had a really hard time with the media," she admits. "It was a lot more haters to deal with … especially since I was younger and my sisters were so beautiful and had it all together."

Though she obviously wouldn't trade in her glamorous lifestyle.
"I can have my moments and say that I don't want this life anymore, but I wouldn't trade it for the world," she says. "The good is definitely worth the bad."
As for her parents' divorce last year, Kylie says she stayed strong for the cameras. But behind closed doors, it was a different story.
"I didn't say anything [while the cameras were rolling.] I went in my room and cried right after," she reveals. "If they're happy, I'm happy, I guess."

Malia Obama Appears to be Wearing a Pro Era T-Shirt in Mysterious New Picture

Malia Obama reps the Beast Coast! A mysterious new photo of President Obama's eldest daughter wearing a hip-hop group's T-shirt is garnering attention across the Internet after it was posted on social media on Sunday, Jan. 4.
In the picture, the 16-year-old political scion poses in a white T-shirt emblazoned with the logo of Brooklyn-based collective Pro Era. Malia hoists both arms behind her head as she gives the camera a wide-mouthed expression that is neither a frown nor a smile. She has double-ear piercings and wears her hair up in a ponytail.
While the image's exact origins and authenticity still remain unknown, Gawkerreached out to Pro Era founder Joey Bada$$for a statement on Monday. His rep responded that Pro Era had received the snapshot from "a mutual friend of Malia and the pro era member."
Last August, another rare selfie of Malia featured the First Daughter at a Chance the Rapper show at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago.

Public interest in Malia has risen in the past year as she and her 1younger sister Sasha,13, continue to display more personality. This past Thanksgiving, the girls received some criticism for their conduct (complete with classic eye-rolling!) during the annual White House turkey pardoning ceremony.
More recently, the two joined their parents for a family vacation in Hawaii, where they disembarked Air Force One looking all grown up. Last May, Michelle Obama joked about Malia getting her driver's license.
"One child is going to be driving this summer," FLOTUS said onAccess Hollywood. "Look out!"
The proud mom added of Sasha: "My youngest loves dancing. She dances in an organized program several times a week, but they’re into what kids are into — they're counting down to summer."

Rare glimpse of Obama daughter causes online stir

Washington  - After years of careful White House control over her few public appearances, a mysterious online image of first daughter Malia Obama, 16, has gone viral.
The rare glimpse of a personal side of President Barack Obama's oldest daughter -- sister Sasha is now 14 -- shows her wearing a tee-shirt printed with the name of the Brooklyn rap group Pro Era.
The photo shows the lanky high school student -- or someone who looks very much like her -- mouth agape, looking directly into the camera as she arranges her long ponytail.
But no one seems to know who took the picture, or how it came to be circulated on the Internet.
The viral dissemination of the image underscored the perils of life in the White House fishbowl -- particularly when its occupants are trying to raise children there -- in the age of the Internet and social media.
The White House -- which has jealously guarded the Obama girls' privacy -- so far has not commented on the photo.

'PK' becomes Bollywood's biggest success

Comedy drama "PK" is now the highest grossing Bollywood film ever, breaking records not just in India but abroad as well.
With A-list movie star Aamir Khan in the leading role as an extraterrestrial attempting to integrate into Indian society, "PK" has accumulated $65.2m of Indian box office returns since its December 19 release.
The title has also taken $9.15m to date in North America, making it the biggest Bollywood movie there too, while Australian totals stand at $1.9m so far.
One major milestone remains for "PK," which has overtaken Khan's 2013 blockbuster "Dhoom 3" in almost every other regard: the earlier hit's total worldwide tally is set at $89m, with "PK" not far behind on $86.2m.
But the picture has not been without controversy, its setup allowing director Rajkumar Hirani and co-writer Abhijat Joshi to question some of India's established social mores, according to Deadline.
Aamir Khan achieved international recognition for his role as lead actor and producer of 2002 Academy Award foreign language nominee "Lagaan," and is well known for his parts in "3 Idiots," "Rang De Basanti" and "Ghajini" in addition to "Dhoom 3" and "PK," while Hirani has received numerous accolades for national and global hits "3 Idiots" and the first two "Munna Bhai" comedies.

Nothing Comes Between Justin Bieber & His Calvins

Nothing Comes Between Justin Bieber & His Calvins
So now we know why Justin Bieber's been showing off his Calvin Klein underwear. The brand just revealed its new campaign starring the singer playing Marky Mark to Lara Stone’s Kate Moss. Stone, if you recall, was the lucky lady standing next to Bieber when he wore nothing but his undies during last year’s Fashion Rocks show.

                  image

In the ad, Stone, who is 11 years older than Bieber, lustily grips the waistband of Bieber’s acid-wash jeans. The popstar’s pulling a Nick Jonas, trying to prove he’s no longer the teen kid America fell for in the first place. Of course, Beliebers knew this sexy bad boy was lurking beneath the surface in the first place.

The campaign is called It Begins, meaning there’s a solid chance there’s much more Bieber headed your way.

'The Hobbit' tops box office for 3rd weekend

NEW YORK (AP) — Hollywood kicked off the New Year on a positive note, with three films vying closely for the weekend box-office title that nevertheless remained with "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" for the third straight week.
Peter Jackson's Middle-earth finale took in $21.9 million for Warner Bros. in North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday, narrowly edging out the Disney musical "Into the Woods" ($19.1 million) and Angelina Jolie's World War II tale "Unbroken" ($18.4 million) from Universal.
The weekend's lone new wide-release, the Relativity Media horror sequel "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death," landed in fourth place with $15.1 million.
The first weekend of 2015 gave Hollywood the chance to begin turning the page on a rough 2014 in which box-office revenue slid 5 percent and attendance dropped to its lowest level in nearly 20 years. With a closely contested weekend at the multiplexes, overall business was strong, up 5.5 percent from the same weekend last year, according to box-office firm Rentrak.
In its second week of limited release, Sony Pictures' "The Interview" earned an estimated $1.1 million theatrically. A representative for Sony said digital figures likely wouldn't be announced Sunday.
In its first four days of online streaming and sale, the comedy made $15 million, Sony said last week. Since then, the film has expanded to video-on-demand via cable operators and on more digital platforms like Apple's iTunes.
Several Oscar contenders began to attract larger numbers of moviegoers, as Hollywood's awards season picks up stream. The Golden Globes are Sunday, Jan. 11.
Playing at 754 theaters, "The Imitation Game," the Weinstein Co.'s code-breaker thriller about World War II hero Alan Turing took in $8.1 million in its sixth week. (By comparison, "The Hobbit" played at more than 3,800 theaters.) The Reese Witherspoon drama "Wild" also added $4.5 million for a five-week $25.8 million total for Fox Searchlight.
Opening in limited release at four locations, J.C. Chandor's New York thriller "A Most Violent Year" debuted with a theater average of $47,000. The acclaimed A24 release, starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, will soon expand.
Demand, though, was strongest for "American Sniper," Clint Eastwood's drama about Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle (Bradley Cooper). In its second week playing in just four theaters, "American Sniper" attracted a remarkable $160,000 per-screen-average. The film opens wide on January 16.
Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Rentrak. Where available, the latest international numbers are also included. Final domestic figures will be released Monday.
1. "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," $21.9 million ($52.5 million international).
2. "Into the Woods $19.1 million ($1 million international).
3. "Unbroken," $18.4 million ($2.3 million international).
4. "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death," $15.1 million ($3.5 million international).
5. "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," $14.5 million ($26 million international).
6. "Annie," $11.4 million ($4.2 million international).
7. "The Imitation Game," $8.1 million ($6.5 million international).
8. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1," $7.7 million ($5.3 million international).
9. "The Gambler," $6.3 million.
10. "Big Hero 6," $4.8 million ($20.2 million international).

Egypt disputes Amal Clooney arrest warning claim

Cairo -Egypt disputed Sunday a claim by British human rights lawyer Amal Clooney that she had been warned she risked arrest last year if she released a report in Cairo critical of the judiciary.
Clooney, a rights lawyer who married Hollywood star George Clooney in a lavish Venice ceremony last year, told Britain's Guardian newspaper that the warning had stopped her going ahead with a Cairo launch for the February 2014 report for the International Bar Association.
But interior ministry spokesman Hani Abdel Latif questioned the source of the alleged warning.
"She should say exactly who said that," Abdel Latif told AFP. "Why not specify from the start who told her that?"
"We have nothing against her," he said.
In the comments published by the Guardian on Saturday, Clooney did not detail the source of the alleged warning.
"When I went to launch the report, first of all they stopped us from doing it in Cairo," she said.
"They said: 'Does the report criticise the army, the judiciary, or the government?' We said: 'Well, yes.' They said: 'Well then, you're risking arrest.'"
The report, based on a fact-finding mission made in mid-2013, warned about the wide powers that ministers had over judges and highlighted a record of selective prosecutions, flaws that Clooney said later contributed to the convictions of three Al-Jazeera journalists.
Clooney, who is now on the defence team for one of the three -- Egyptian-Canadian Mohamed Fahmy -- said the same flaws in the judicial system meant she had little confidence in the retrial ordered on Thursday by Egypt's top court.
She said she was focusing instead on lobbying for Fahmy to be deported under new powers decreed by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in November.
Lawyers for Fahmy's Australian colleague Peter Greste are pushing for the same outcome, while the wife of Egyptian Baher Mohamed has said she is looking at ways to get her husband out of Egypt.
The three men remain in custody pending the retrial.

Same-sex marriages start in Miami, hours before rest of Florida

Same-sex couples celebrate outside the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Miami Florida
MIAMI (Reuters) - Florida's first same-sex weddings took place in Miami on Monday, shortly before gay and lesbian couples were to begin tying the knot elsewhere in the 36th U.S. state to legalize gay marriage.
Circuit Court Judge Sarah Zabel paved the way for some couples in Miami-Dade County to get a jump-start on their weddings when she lifted a stay on her earlier decision finding the state's gay marriage ban unconstitutional.
Amid cheers and tearful embraces, Zabel later presided over the marriages of two Florida couples in ceremonies witnessed by a throng of media.
When asked by the judge for their rings, Karla Arguello, 37, replied that she and partner Cathy Pareto had already worn them for 15 years.
"Our son is finally going to have a family and not be a second-class citizen," said Pareto, 42, one of the people who sued over the ban.

The U.S. Supreme Court last month declined a request from Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to extend the stay on Hinkle's ruling.
Same-sex marriage licenses will be issued in the rest of the state starting just after midnight on Tuesday, when a stay expires on a ruling by U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle in Tallahassee, who also struck down the ban approved by Florida voters in 2008.
In Broward County, which includes the city of Fort Lauderdale, marriage licenses will be handed out starting at 12:01 a.m. and a mass wedding will follow at 3 a.m., according to the local clerk's website.
Crowds are also expected elsewhere overnight, with marriage licenses to be issued after midnight in the Florida Keys and Osceola County in the central part of the state.
Some Florida courthouses will not be hosting ceremonies after issuing licenses. Clerks in a number of conservative regions decided to end all wedding ceremonies as they faced the prospect of same-sex marriages.
The legalization of gay marriage in Florida means about 70 percent of Americans now live in states permitting same-sex marriage, almost double the number a year ago, according to the Human Rights Campaign, a national advocacy group.
Supporters of Florida's ban vowed to continue their fight. U.S. Supreme Court justices are meeting on Friday to discuss whether to take up the gay marriage issue.
"Today is not the end," said John Stemberger, president of the Florida Family Policy Council, which campaigned for the ban.

"Heaven," she captioned the above photo on Instagram. "I'm in heaven."

When Brinkley turned the big 6-0 she opened up to Harper's Bazaarabout how she looks just as good as when she hit the modeling scene 40 years earlier.
"I haven't touched a piece of meat since I read a graphic description of Chicago's slaughterhouses when I was 12," she told the mag. "Over the years I've gone through all the varying phases, but currently I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat fish or dairy except for goat's and sheep's milk. My great luxury in life is my private chef, who is trained in healthy cooking."
As for her fitness routine, Brinkley practices what she preaches when it comes to working out.
"Everyone asks if I really use the Total Gym, and I do! It's perfect for stretching and lengthening my body," she explained. "Last summer I got into SoulCycle, and in the winter I do yoga at Yoga Shanti. I enjoy bicycling, paddleboarding, surfing, skiing, and swimming too."
