It would be fairly hypocritical of her to go AWOL on one of the biggest party nights of the year - when you consider the repetitive message in her most recent hit Work.
But her busy work life isn't going to stop Britney Spears from getting all excited for New Year's Eve next week.
The pop superstar has revealed that she's planning a swanky night at a top restaurant as soon as she comes off stage in Las Vegas.
Britney will kick of her two-year Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me, in the Planet Hollywood Resort hotel on Friday.
And even though she is also scheduled to perform at 10pm on December 31, she intends to ring in 2014 in style as soon as she comes off stage.
The 32-year-old star told EOnline.com: "For New Year's Eve, we'll probably go to a party at [Las Vegas restaurant] Koi."
The blonde beauty, who has two sons, Sean Preston, eight, and Jayden, seven, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, will be relaxing on Christmas day because she can't cook.
She said: "For Christmas, we'll just have a big family dinner."
But she added: "I'm a horrible cook. I'm not very good. When I try, I could be good, but with the kids, you cook something, you take time out to really make something and then they don't eat it.
"You're just like, 'What the heck? What's going on? I spent two hours cooking and you're not even eating it?' They love chicken fingers. Unfortunately, they love anything fried."
The singer doesn't want any gifts this year as she recently revealed she has everything she needs to make her happy.
